After Microsoft's acquisition of Mojang was announced earlier this month, both the Minecraft developer and Xbox division head Phil Spencer were quick to reassure fans that they still want to maintain your popular sandbox creation title on Playstation platforms like the recently released PS4 edition of the game.  Making good on that promise, the state run Playstation blog announced on Sept. 18 that Minecraft: PS4 Edition will be buying a physical retail disc release this October.

While this helps lay some fears unwind that this Microsoft buyout would cause support of Minecraft to cease on Playstation platforms, the franchise's long-term future on Sony consoles remains to be uncertain currently.  Microsoft paid $2.5 billion to accumulate Mojang in a very move that shocked many.  Not because Minecraft isn't seen as desirable franchise with worldwide recognition, because it's, but for the reason that amount was so incredibly high until this form of deal is virtually uncommon for a developer that is only known for the single title.

According to the website article, Nintendo and publisher Mojang will work together on new content for your Nintendo version from the game. More add-ons are promised for "Minecraft: Wii U Edition" alongside the 16 additional add-on packs available for separate purchase inside the Nintendo eShop at launch:

Without giving anything away, you will find moments hanging around that could leave someone blinking and checking screen trying to put together what just happened. This story seems very rushed and in addition it won't produce a lots of sense if the ending occurs, it also lost its overall a feeling of the classic game now feels much more a over hyped Final Fantasy tale. Some may want it, but there is a good chance PE fans will disregard it.
